“That’s just not realistic” – Rafa Mir’s skill has Forest fans purring
Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been reacting to one of the best pieces of skill they’re likely to ever see as a video was posted of Portuguese striker Rafa Mir almost bagging a scorpion kick at the City Ground on Saturday.
The Reds dominated Birmingham City as they brushed them aside 3-0. With the three points secured, Mir tried something audacious late on.
The Wolves loanee attempted an Olivier Giroud-esque scorpion kick, and with a bit more luck it would have ended up in the back of the net.
Lee Camp could only watch in the Birmingham goal as the unbelievable volley whistled narrowly over the crossbar.
Unsurprisingly a couple of supporters were blown away by what they saw from the striker.
? ? Nearly pulled it off.

Rafa Mir nearly scored a backheel overhead kick. I have no words. #nffc

Others were left wishing that it had gone in. Had Mir scored it could have been a contender for the Puskas award, but it wasn’t to be, and Forest fans will be left with memories of his narrow miss.
Wish he'd scored that.

Others got carried away and began thinking about promotion. Indeed, the move was something you’d expect to see from Barcelona or Manchester City rather than Nottingham Forest.
Every fan collectively looking around gasping thinking about promotion. Shame quest didnt show this and adomahs chance

Another fan couldn’t believe what he was seeing as he stated that he’s only ever seen something like that in a video game.
You always do it on fifa and think, that's just not realistic, until mir did it ?
