Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have tipped their team to beat Birmingham City this weekend as the Reds return to the City Ground.

The East Midlands outfit have had a tough start to the campaign as they’ve had to face two promotion contenders in West Brom and Leeds United.

Their next opponents should represent a much easier challenge. Although Birmingham are still unbeaten in the league this season, their squad is much weaker than it was last term. They lost Che Adams and Jota this summer without adequately replacing them. Garry Monk was also spectacularly sacked.

Forest failed to beat the Blues in either of their two meetings last season. They came from two behind to rescue a draw at the City Ground, but they weren’t so fortunate at St Andrew’s as they lost 2-0.

Despite not being able to dispatch the Second City outfit last term a number of supporters are tipping the Reds up for a big win on Saturday.

Others have been a little bit more tentative by predicting it to be a tighter affair, but these supporters still fancy their side to get their first three points of the season

One of the smartest predictions many fans were making was for Joe Lolley to get on the scoresheet. The winger has scored more goals against Birmingham than any other club.
