“No need to rest anyone” – These Forest fans react to Lamouchi’s comments
Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been reacting to Sabri Lamouchi’s comments as he suggested he won’t rotate too much for the game against Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup.
Many teams choose to completely change their lineup when they come up against lower league opposition in the cup competitions, but it seems as if the Forest gaffer doesn’t want to change too much.
He stated that a few players need resting, but he wants to put out the best team possible as he wants to win the game.
With such a huge squad to choose from, he would have no trouble in rotating his lineup, but it seems as if he wants to build in a bit of continuity as the team still haven’t had a long time to gel together.
This revelation has brought mixed reactions from a number of fans. One supporter stated that he didn’t want Lamouchi to make any changes from the team that drew with Leeds over the weekend.

A couple of fans agreed with Lamouchi’s idea of rotating slightly for this match as one stated that continuity is key at this stage of the season.
Continuity is key at this stage to gain the feeling of a Team and an understanding of how each other play. Would like to see Bostock and Jenkoin plus 1 other and our new Keeper #COYR

@BBCRNS probably rest Dawson, Lolley, Muric and Cash and give Samba, Jenkinson, Ameobi and Figueredo a start. Also include Arvin Appiah and Brennan Johnson

Other sections of the fanbase were surprised by their manager’s comments as they couldn’t believe that some players need a rest after just two games of the season.
?? players need a rest after 2 games in 2 weeks.

How can some players 'need a rest' just two games into the season. I thought the pre season work/games prepared them for this? #nffc
