“Blessing in disguise” – These Forest fans seem happy that Leonardo Ulloa won’t be joining
Nottingham Forest fans are buzzing after reports emerged stating that Leonardo Ulloa will be joining a Spanish club this summer.
The Reds had previously been linked to the 33-year-old, but it seems as if that deal isn’t going to happen – and supporters feel as if they’ve dodged a bullet.
The East Midlands club seemingly do need a striker as their options beyond Lewis Grabban aren’t up to scratch.
If for any reason Grabban was unavailable for Forest they would have to look towards either a 36-year-old Daryl Murphy or a heavily inexperienced Rafa Mir.
Ulloa has had successful spells in English football before. He scored 28 goals in 70 appearances for Brighton, and he also netted some vital goals for Leicester on their way to the Premier League title.
Despite this, some Forest fans are glad that he’s not going to be playing at the City Ground next season.
Thank god for that. We do not want him

One fan had a somewhat sarcastic response to this news, jokingly stating that he will lose sleep over the fact the striker isn’t joining the Reds.
Oh no i won't be able to sleep tonight.

Another supporter was seemingly furious that his team were ever even considering a move for Ulloa. He stated that it’s a shambles and called for Forest’s head scout to be sacked due to this apparent poor judgement.
